Officer Shirley

Shirley or Officer Shirley is a police officer with the Ocean Shores Police Department. She lives in Ocean Shores.

Background[]

Ray and Shirley have an interesting relationship in which they are often somewhat playful, but serious. At times it is borderline flirtatious. It may just be how they have communicated with one another for years, or they may have had a closer relationship at one point we are on aware of. They have known each other since at least 1970, according to the episode "Beach Boyz and A Girl."

Appearance[]

Shirley's hair is a dark brown-black color and is often rolled in a bun at the end. She has a stalkier, wide build.

Personality[]

She is a prominent law enforcement officer. She is either high ranking, a public information officer, or both ... since she has appeared on television advising people to stay out of trouble or else. Her beat is Raymundo's house and work place, and is most often patrolling at night. This results in numerous occasions where she could have taken them in to custody. Instead, she trusts Raymundo and simply drops them off at his house. She knows that they have good intentions and since they have a home to go to, it is for the best. She even did the same thing for Merv Stimpleton. That time however, Raymundo decided not to vouch for him. She took Merv in on an unspecified arrest warrant.
